Son of Ampzilla 2000 or McCormack DNA225 amp?

Am seriously considering these two amps and am wondering if anyone has heard either one of them and what you think of them?
Which one is the better sounding (more musical)?

I know this isn't what you were looking for, but you might also consider the sa1000 from Red Dragon Audio. It's my company so this is a bit of a shameless plug but I sincerely believe you would do well to consider the sa1000.

You may want to post this in the Vmps forum at audiocircle.com as there's a number of people who've heard the SOA2000.
Many thanks for your responses!
Am currently using an Audible Illusions S120 amp (vintage 1989 - rebuilt in 1999 by Art Ferris & AI) & am looking to update to a newer, updated, even better sounding amp.

Would be driving Fried Studio 5's (full-range, transmission line loudspeakers - relatively efficient)thru an MFA Magus-A preamp (modified).

Looking for something tube-like in a high powered transistor amp & affordable.

Thanks again!
