The McIntosh C45 has 2 channel and 6 channel outputs allowing you to combine subs full range from both channels simutaneously or left and right individually, balanced or unbalanced. I'm using it with one sub and can control the subs volume from the C45 remote. It's a great preamp and if you ever want to put it into a home theater or multi-channel it'll work there too.
