Solid State and Glass Pass/Calypso

I will be looking for a pre soon to match a pair of Pass X-600 Monoblocks. I will be selling my Levinson32 in thefall/winter 2007. I have heard good things about the Calypso Saturn....retail $4500. Has anybody heard or owned these components together? I would like to hear some input before I buy my next pre.

Anyway, if you consider spending $4500, you will do better than Calypso if you get a used preamp.
Audio Research Ref2 and BAT VK51SE come to mind and are around the same $4500 price point, used.
