So long, Paul Revere and Mike Auldrige

Another costly week, with the loss of Paul Revere and Mike Auldridge.

Mike Auldridge passed in December of 2012.
More than a few happy nights seeing the Seldom Scene at the Birchmere and way back at the long gone Red Fox in Bethesda. Anybody who does not care for bluegrass should check out "Live at the Cellar Door". IMHO there have been no finer dobro players.
While we're remembering recent losses, I want to mention Glen Cornick, former Jethro Tull bassist. It was a couple of weeks ago that he passed on at his home in Hawaii. No cause menntioned.
I always thought highly of his playing, and his contribution to the sound of early Tull albums.
oops, didn't know of Mike's earlier passing. Saw him with Chesapeake and was mightily impressed.
I appreciate they did the "Indian Reservation" and of course 'Kicks' was meaningful as well. RIP.
