Small spacers under the EMIT's on Infinity QLS-2's

I have gotten involved with buying old vintage audio of the internet and recently aquired a pair of really nice infinity Quantom Line Source-2's. Other than the foam on the base drivers, everything is great. But on the top and bottom of the three EMIT's on their was small spacers on the bottom two screws which put the EMIT's pointing at a slight angle up and not allowing them to be mounted flush on the cabinet. I noticed that on ebay someone was selling a set of crossovers for the QSL-2's which were different than the ones I have and they claimed it was based on different versions of them I removed the spacers and re-mounted them flush with the cabinets. But the spacers look almost factory like, has anyone who has owned these before ever seen this as a factory set up?
