Single wired hookup

My speakers, Revel Studio 2’s, can be biwired. The owners manual recommends that for single wired hookup, the connection at the high frequency contacts is recommended. 

Why would it matter is a single pair of speaker cable is connected the to HF connectors vs LF connectors?

The factory must have found that it sounds better that way.

I have the Salon 2 speakers and keep them hooked up to the recommend setting. That said, I have had them set up to the LF connections. I could not perceive any difference in the sound.

Better yet, why not try them bi-wired? Two of my systems allow for bi-wiring, and both sound better that way versus single wire and jumpers. Not just a little better, enough of a difference even my wife noticed!
