Sim Audio P-3 or P-5 ?

I have no idea why this thread was pulled by audiogon.
Have a W-3 which I am pleased with running direct to my Raysonic 168.
Have the itch to try a pre and see for myself if there is a improvement or not.
Either the discontinued P-3 or the 2 piece P-5.
Would like input.

IMHO the W-3 has a dry and dark sound, but if you like it, the P-5 will give you a bit more refinement. As for the P3, it is a bit of an oddball in the line, I don't think you will gain anything.

Good luck
