Any one here using these cables/cords in their system?
This company's operation is based in Dallas TX.

Thanks! for sharing and updating me- Keith.
If given (1) choice for a PC, certainly, place it on your preamp. The pre-amp is the heart of any system and should be considered 1st.

Keep me posted & Happy Listening!
Jafant - my first experience with the Kraken was when Brian Ackerman of Aaudio attached it to my Pass Labs XP-30 preamp and that was an eye opening experience! Soundstage depth, improved timbre, etc... That's the only component that I have hooked the Kraken to directly so far. I ended up using a Kraken to my HB Designs power strip, but have not been able to afford running them to anything else (not yet, anyway). I'd like to get a couple more and run them to my Pass Labs X600.8 mono's. Maybe some day! In the meantime I'm still trying to decide what cords to get me by until I can go with more Krakens. Thanks for your help
My pleasure Keith-

I have had the pure listening pleasure of auditioning Stage III Concepts PC. This is the best PC in the market place.

I have not demo'ed them w/ the Silent Source cables nor Transparent OPUS cables. This situation would be my dream combo -if only to determine if any synergy exists.

In your favor, SS is a sonic match for Pass Labs gear.
Again, I would interested to see and hear wether or not the Stage III Concepts would do any justice to Pass Labs.
The rest of your system should be fine in this regard.
Vandy speakers are very friendly w/ speaker cables.
PLease keep me posted if you have any chance to try the Stage III w/ your Pass labs gear- Happy Listening!
Hey Jahant, I'm ultimately working toward Stage 3 Kraken power cords, but I have been spending a lot of money on my room and other gear lately. Consequently, I'm looking to get into some "decent" cords that might offer me some sonic gains and then once I build up the old audio fund I will start working toward the Krakens or something else. In the meantime I was thinking about running the Silent Source Signature line. But I've started to look into Shunyata Research cords again and I may go with their new Alpha series power cords to get me by for now. They are about the same price point as the High Current Silent Source Signature cords. As far as my other gear - I have the Core Audio Technology Linear Power Supply, SOTM server, Meitner MA-1 DAC, Pass Labs XP-30 Preamp, Pass Labs X600.8 mono blocks, Soundlab M-1PX speakers (I also have a pair of Vandersteen 5A speakers), a couple of JL audio F113 subs, with the JL Audio CR-1 crossover, Thales IC's and Thales Speaker cables, one Kraken cord to an HB designs power strip and a bunch of home made power cords. Thanks for your help Jafant

You will enjoy the Silent Source cabling- Keith.
What other gear is in your system? Keep me posted as you decide to purchase any SS cable/cord(s). Happy Listening!
Hey Calloway are you still thinking about selling the Silent Source PC's you mentioned in your prior post? Let me know if you are I may be interested. Thank you. Keith Mundy Sacramento, CA
Jafant..i didn't realize at my last post that you had AR gear. i have a good friend in a nearby city that has all AR Ref gear and uses all SS 'TMR' cables and his system is superb..Good luck
Thanks! for sharing- Jhconnor + Calloway.
Yes, these are outstanding cables/cords that will make any system better. It is good to know that this brand is a sonic match for ARC gear.

Keep me posted & Happy Listening!
They are great cables. Even thought i am selling 2 of the 'Music Reference' pcs currently, i think they are great..
I know this is late but...

I am now using Silent Source in my system and I am completely blown away. I have a pair of Reference speaker cables, two pairs or reference balanced interconnects and two reference high current power cords. While these cables/cords aren't inexpensive I believe they are a great value and I can't imagine ever feeling the need to "upgrade".

The sound is natural. Quiet background, plenty of air, very firm foundation and natural highs. I consider these cables an integral part of my system. ARC GS150, ARC Anniversary Pre, ARC REF2 Phono Pre, Silver Circle Pure Power 5, Zellaton Concert speakers. Ayre DPS turntable, Lyra Kleos cartridge, ARC CD3 MkII
