shure m97he era iv cart....

Recently acquired this cart...from what I can gather...made in 79-83...cost 150...was totl hyperellipitcal from this series...2nd only to type 15 (?) I believe...at any rate it sounds fantastic...I know its old...but appears to be in great condition...how much life can I expect? I assume this is superior to the current 97 model...
