For what it’s worth, I’m running a Delta V2 XC into my PS Audio PowerPlant. Compared against Venom v14 and Alpha. I preferred the Delta. Just added a Delta NR to my DAC, Totally amazing. I compared my Venom to Delta and Alpha into my pre and preferred the Venon, so I’m thinking about Venom for my amps.
Shunyata Venom V16 Wow! Upgrade to Hydra Delta D6 or Delta NR cables first?
I recently picked up a demo Shunyata V16 power distributor and a Delta v2 Cord to try out as a comparison to the furman elite 15i that I have been using. Damn, this was not a fair comparison (cost wise or sound wise) but my slight bit of power conditioning skepticism is now completely gone. Sound was markedly improved in many areas. Better clarity, imaging, bass and musicality. How much….like at least 20% …this is all subjective anyway right…but definitely a fantastic improvement.
Has anyone had a chance to compare the V16 with the with the Hydra D6? Six outlets would just cover me but the D6 is a considerable cost increase. Thinking I might be better getting a Delta v2 NR cable for my amp (running venom HC now). Eventually I would like to do all but was curious if anyone had thoughts on what order to upgrade and V16 vs Hydra Delta D6? Thanks.
