Should I pull the tubes?

I have a NYAL Minuet preamp in transit to me. It uses 4 12AX7 tubes. Two in the phono, two in the line stage.

I don't plan on using the phono stage. Could I pull the phono tubes and leave the tube sockets empty, or will doing that affect the performance of the preamp?

Thanks, Newbie. I'll just put cheap ones in the phono section. I was wondering if it could affect the line stage, maybe even send the unit into oscillation. I had an early Audible Illusions preamp that oscillated when I unknowingly put in some Hungarian tubes. They even warned about this in their manual. I was just curious if the circuit could be affected in some way, as Hifigeek1 suggested.

How many times are you going to ask this question ?

As one member suggested, why not just buy some cheap tubes and place those in the phono stage section of the preamp and keep the other ones for spares.

For under $20 your problem would be solved.
