Short runs of flexible power cord?

I just spent $ 200 (mostly for shipping) to have my Jolida 302B repaired: the IEC was damaged due to the torque from the heavy Transparent power cord. It's admittedly too long but also incredibly stiff. I could really use some help here. Are there companies that make flexible power cables in shorter (less than 1 M) runs, that sound good??????

I use a block of wood as a stain relief on my source power cable (it's at the top of the rack). Just cut to fit so that the weight of the cable is on the block and not the IEC. This can leave a small indentation on the cable but a rubber etc. pad can elimante/minimize this. No need to swap cables.
I have had to put objects, such as wood boxes, bricks, VPI Bricks and books near the connector to relieve tension at the connection point. I have also attached string to the connector and attached the string to the wall with a screw at the outlet. I have also used Velcro ties to secure the cable to the equipment rack. This works well in rack mounted equipment.
Heavy cords can be a problem.
I do not re-call ever seeing a power cord shorter than 1 meter.

Mapleshade has some very flexible power cords. They can custom make a short run as well.
Power cords are simple to make and simple to resize. Unless yours has a sophisticated molded end you should be able to cut to size a re-terminate. In less than one meter I doubt you will hear any difference in any cable you buy as long as it meet the specs for current delivery and EMI/RFI rejection.

I choose to use a support as mentioned above by several others,(nylon tether).
Your amp has a small power draw. It's not like those big power hungry amps. Maybe try a lighter gauge cord.
ZU Birth comes to mind. I use one on an Odyssey amp in a tight place and hear no difference from a Harmonic Tech 9 that was on it in another setting.
Thanks to all. Due to lack of space in shelf behind unit, I've discovered using a short cord would only compress cord at both ends due to acute angles required for clearance, so my approach will be using flexible cable. Will check recommendations Thanks!
Check out these that secure to the component chassis and provide strain relief of your cables and iec socket. They work very well and are easy to install in most instances.

try to find some of these. I ordered them many years ago from this company out of Iowa. it looks like they've moved operations overseas now...
I use Acoustic Zen PC's which for their thickness are pretty flexible. I have a couple 2 foot in length Krakatoa's made shorter by AZ. Plus they sound Great.
Actually I will be selling one of the shorter ones soon.
Ziggy333a,

Please let me know if you plan on selling the Krakatoa power cord in shorter length....

Thanks
