If there is any kind of transport device or adjustment for locking during shipment, your manual will tell you.
Shipping CDPs and laser alignment
Is there much risk of messing up the alignment or calibration of the laser assembly in a CDP when shipping? Obviously manufacturers have to ship their good to distributors, but I didn't know whether there's some immobilization of the laser assembly that they do and that we don't when we sell to one another.
