Screen Reletive to Speaker

Hi all, I will install my screen on Sunday, and wanted to know how close the screen should be to the speakers. I have a few feet to play with.
My thoughts are if the screen is too close to the speaker it will interfere with the audio. On the other hand, if it is too far away, the audio will not sound like it is coming from the screen.
The screen will be installed in a bench bay window. So I have the whole width of the bench to play with.
Also, how far away should the speakers be from the bay window? I figured a foot.

My 5.1 system:
Sonus Faber Cremona Speaker
Sonus Faber Cremona Center Speaker
Sonus Faber Cremona Sub
Sonus Faber Concerto Speaker surrounds
NBS Cables SERPENT-III Speaker cable
Krell Showcase 5 Multichamp
Krell Showcase Surround Pre
V Inc. Bravo D1 Player
Marantz VP-12S2

Thanks in advance for any help,

My screen is on the wall and my front L/R speakers are 5 feet out with the center speaker at 4 feet out. Sounds fantastic even at this distance. My seating distance is at around 17 feet from my 100 inch screen. Place your speakers as you would for audio only setup with those speakers and it will work fine for movies also.

Mine are about 2 feet in front 1 foot to each side. Check out the pics in my posted system...
My TV is about two feet or a little more behind my left and right speakers. The center speaker is directly underneath the TV. Imaging is excellent with some sounds coming from right behind the TV as if it weren't there. Very cool. For multichannel it works very well too. I've read in a 5.1 set up that if you can imagine your speakers spread around in a circle is a good way to set it up. You of course are not centered in that circle but rather the screen close to one end and you perhaps 2/3 of the way from the TV in relation to the imaginary circle. The rear speakers behing you a little ways. You have to experiment to find what works best in your room.
