Schiit Saga to Pioneer VSX-822

Aspiring audiophile, newbie altogether though...

Can I use a Saga as a phono preamp and patch it into my Pioneer VSX822 home theatre receiver?

Thanks for any advice here!

No! The Saga is a passive stage with a buffered output. You need a PHONO stage. Schiit makes one. It connects to the AUX input on the Pioneer.
Thank you so much - bugger that. I sadly ordered it without understanding. Complete rookie move.

I sent you a message. I might be interested in your Saga if you don't need it.

Thanks.
The Schiit Mani phono stage is the one to buy!
Add the $75 Grado cartridge and you will have a fine start for LP listening!
