Saw the Musical Box last night

Saw the Musical Box last night. A very accurate re-creation of "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" concert by Genesis in 1975. Costumes, slide show, and period instruments were used for the entire show which included "The Lamb" beginning to end, "The Musical Box", and "Watcher of the Skies". If you saw the original tour and/or enjoy the Gabriel Genesis material check it out if it comes to city near you.
Musical Box at Shea's...that must have been a great show. I wish they were making a west coast swing.

I remember seeing U2 at Shea's in 1983...maybe it was 1982. We sat in the front of the balcony. I've never been to a show where the entire balcony was literally rocking up and down in time with the music. Shea's Buffalo...a great old theater...
In 1975 when Genesis toured the Lamb, in Buffalo the show was at the Century Theater which is no longer. Shea's Performing Arts Theater is now the only good venue in the area.
HSBC is great for hockey games and big events (U2 plays there this week) but it is not nearly as intimate as Shea's.
I just seen the Musical Box in November at a small theater here in Clevenland Ohio. To me it lelt like the real band Genesis was playing, one of the best shows I have see in a long time.

I saw them do "Foxtrot" a couple years back. What a treat for any true Genesis fan! THis lovely poster from that show for their "Lamb" show adorns one of my listening rooms.
