Rowland Consonance Preamp Standby Mode

Does anyone know if this preamp has a standby mode that is only accessible by the remote? Is it better to leave turned on if there is a standby mode that can not be accessed if lacking remote?

It is designed to leave it on. I think, the Stand By mode is only accessible via remote.
