ROTEL RB1582/RC1580 FOR MY PROAC STUDIO 140MK2 ?

Hi

I upgraded my speakers to PROAC STUDIO 140MK2 .I am currently
using Roksan Kandy K2 to move them but I do feel that it isn't
fulfilling the Proac full potential . I heard the combo power/pre of Rotel RB1582/RC1580 at a freind house and was so impressed - the sound was detailed and spacious- that I decided to buy them too . the problem is that I can't listen to them with my speakers . What do you think ?

I have the same amp and pre for my eeryday lsitening room and the speakers are B&W N804. The amp has plenty of poeer for the hungry 804s. I think it makes an outstanding combination. Rotel is good entry level for the high end world.
CORRECTION: Let me add that my preamp is the RC1550. When I did an in-shop comparison between the 1550 and 1580 I could not hear any difference - same amp and same speaker.
