I had a similar issue happen with my RA 1570. I would hear clicks when I had my Iphone plugged into the front port. It was updated with the right firmware so no idea what it is/was. I sent it back into best buy and it's at Rotel right now. The guy at best buy tested it and said he didn't notice anything....I'm using the 1572 right now while the 1570 gets worked on. I haven't had the same issue so far with 1572.
Rotel RA-1572 Integrated Amp Issues?
Just purchased this and the RCD-1572 CD player; Still breaking in.
I've noticed some disturbing clicking sounds in this amp. In one scenario, I'm streaming Tidal from My iMac (USB) to the Schiit Eitr to the Rotel (via Coax). While it's playing if I turn the light switch in an adjacent room on I hear a loud click, then silence for 3-4 seconds, then another loud click, then the music starts again.
I have had a Marantz HD-AMP1 in the Rotel's place for awhile and this never happened.
Would anyone who has had Rotel amps in their system have any ideas what is happening?
