Roksan Kandy Mk III CD Question----Help

I just got one of these, and I can't seem to get it to shut off using the remote. With no power button on the front of the unit, the only way that I can get it to turn off is to use the switch on the back. The manual doesn't say anthing about it, and the remote works for all other functions. Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks in advance.

I have the MK III CDP and the only way to shut it off is to use the switch at the back. Roksan recommends the player to be left on at all times and turned off and unplugged from the wall during storms and such. Great player by the way. How do you like it?
I had a kandy MK I and the RC off switch was meant to be used to power on and off the roksan kandy integrated amp, not the cd player.
I, m not quite familiar with The Roksan Kandy, as I own The Roksan Caspian cd player. But on mine its the same way.
You only turn it off from the back; but on the other hand its actually recommended that you leave it on 24/7, as most solid state and digital gear manufacturers recomend. Just make sure you don,t leave the player on PAUSE mode for a long time because that will keep the transport and laser working. Really good gear not so well known in the US by the way.
