Ripping SACD's - when, if ever?

Anybody have an idea whether or not we'll be able to rip SACD's some day? I'm totally committed to my computer rig but can't help missing SACD which obliterated redbooks on my last system.

mikelavigne Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 2,134 posts 04-22-2007 at 10:40pm Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete it is a violation of the 'Scarlet Book' to output unencripted DSD off an SACD. only proprietary interfaces are used between sacd transports and dac's. i suppose that someone with pro mastering software and the proper level of knowledge could do it but most of those type people are not looking for 'issues'.
