Must a been them ceegars what done 'im in. He was a welcome reprieve from the noise of the mid-to-late 1970's, when he appeared out of the blue. He sang like he had done a lot more living than his modest years suggested. Male white singers in their 20's and 30's (and older) today sound like little boys.

Ditty Wa Dittie, will pull me some Leon and listen to him tonight. Sorry to hear about his passing.

I got to see him for free many many years ago in Pittsburgh. He was a very cool cat!!!!!!!
