The three cable component is NOT RGB, I believe. The two flavors are RGB are usually the 15pin d-sub connector or 5 BNC connectors. You find both on high-end computer monitors, for example. The component you cite sounds like a Y, Pr, Pb connection - not RGB. Although I guess it could be RGB with the H and V cables for separate Horizontal and Vertical sync.
