Revox B77 Restoration

'

I recently purchased a Revox B77 in decent working order. I'm looking for a Revox tape recorder restoration service in North America. Your experience and any suggestions are welcome.

Best to contact Studer, the parent firm of Revox. Studer's are still being built and sold new in the studio recording business. Studer is the gold standard in analog recording, equal or better then some of the Ampex AT units. While parts are scarce, and pricey, they are well worth it if you will be doing some actual recording. A full restoration can often cost ten times the amount you paid for the unit. You have not lived until you have heard original tape studio masters running at 15ips on one of these professional machines. Once you do, you will know 'real' sound.
