Review: WEIZHI PRS6 POWER DISTRIBUTOR AC filter

Category: Accessories

Being an audiophile on a tight budget I have spent a great deal of time and energy researching gear before making purchases since I can’t afford to make costly mistakes. Therefore when it came to upgrading my power conditioner I researched all types of active & passive units, and ultimately decided that passive was best since I wanted to plug my entire system in without worrying about current limitations.
Since I know how important clean power is for achieving a low noise floor, I listened to many of the most popular power conditioners on the market. Most of them did a very good job of lowering the noise floor, but they all seemed to alter the sound in some way, and leave their sonic fingerprint.
I recently found out about the Weizhi PRS6 and read some very positive reviews from the US distributor’s website. This peaked my interest enough to try this product, and Wow I’m glad I did since I feel this product is a serious system changer. The Weizhi has made such a positive change to my entire system that I couldn’t imagine listening without it.
After adding the PRS6 the music just came alive. There was suddenly much more detail and tonal accuracy than had been present before, and the noise floor virtually disappeared. But most importantly I could not detect any sonic fingerprint, and the sound just flowed from my speakers with perfect pitch and un-restricted dynamics.
Adding a better amplifier, preamp, or CD player would not make as large of improvement to my sound system as the Weizhi PRS6. I honestly rate this product as the best system upgrade I have made in over 30 years as a music lover and audiophile.

Hi,

I am also using PRS6. May I know do you plug your power amp into it?

Thanks,
Eric
