Hdm, I am floating the ground for all dedicated lines back at the service panel. And an LC-1 is good for up to 100 wpc whereas the LC-2 is rated for up to 200 wpc and I believe the new LC-3 is for up to 300+ wpc.
The reviewing software did not capture the price of the LC-2 which retails for $900, the LC-1 at $695. And I believe the LC-3 retails for $1200.
These are passive in-line power conditioners and one of the benefits is that you do not use a power cable with them as the LC's come with their own power cabling. Except for the LC-3 in which you'll have to supply your own pc.
It's hard to find much info on Foundation Research products but here's a few web-sites that I am aware of that provide info and pics:
The Analog Shop's web-site analogshop.com has them listed under 'What's Hot'. Here they also provide their opinion on the LC's.
As to a gauge difference, I assume you mean in the electrical power cabling portion? Not from what I can tell.
