Heard two Nantais decks. Impressive. Then I heard an Oswalds Mill deck (Also L-75, I think), and I was blown away. It's subjective of course; but I haven't heard a better rig.
Restauration of idler drives
Has anybody had the opportunity to compare the work of Jean Nantais (praised by Arthur Salvatore on High-End Audio) to that of Artisan Fidelity or Loricraft? The two former will totally rebuild Lencos and Garrards whereas the latter is specialized on Garrards.
In addition, the plinths made by Kridon Panteli of Plinth Design are pieces of art, but how to they rate in terms of sound quality (they are made from birch ply)?
