Replacing bearing oil

I replaced the bearing oil on my Yamaha PF-800. Putting the spindle back into the bearing was a difficult trick. The seal with oil is so tight the trapped air couldn't get out.

Anyone know any tricks to make this easier?

Try tilting the turntable and running the drops of oil down the wall of the bearing race.
If you get oil on the entire race wall, the gap is sealed and the trapped air cannot escape.
