Repairing a broken rca input to preamp

While switching out cables to my preamp, I accidently broke one of the cd rca inputs. How hard is this to fix? Can I take it to a local electronics repair shop? I have the piece that broke off. The preamp is an old Proceed Pre.

It depends,....some of the rca jacks have internal tabs that are bent over behind the rear panel with a couple of wires soldered to them. If this is the case, it should be no problem to buy a new one, bend the tabs over and solder yourself.

Other RCA jacks are soldered directly to the board. I would stay away from soldering those yourself. Your local electronics repair shop should be able to do it however. Good luck
