Rega P3-24: Is the upgrade power supply worth it?

I have a Rega P3-24 turntable that is about a year old. I have recently replaced their Elys cartridge with a Dynavector 10X5 which sounds a bit bright, but very good. I have read that their upgraded power supply makes a noticeable improvement in the sound. They also offer an upgraded turntable "white" belt which supposedly offers improvement in performance. Would like some feedback from members who have purchased these upgrades for the same turntable. Happy Holidays to All!!! Jim

In a word.....YES. In my room, with my system, and to my ears, the addition of the TT-PSU has allowed me to hear a definite improvement in the sound of music. I am now enjoying a deeper soundstage, a greater sense of pace and rhythm, a slightly tighter bass response, and an overall "it sounds better" type of feeling.

I had my Rega P3-24/Exact 2 set-up since December 2008, and I added the TT-PSU this past Autumn. IMHO, it has been a very worthwhile purchase. Do a search on these forums, and you'll find lots of good information. Also, if you "google" Rega TT-PSU, you'll find some good reviews. Good Luck, and Happy Listening !!
