Reference Recordings from the 90's : Top 10

The criteria is simple. Must be from the 90's and must be redbook. Other then that the recording quality along with the music itself should be top notch.

Albums that come to mind

- Massive Attack "mezzaine"
- RadioHead "ok Computer"
- Alice in Chains "Jar of Flies"
- Nirvana MTV umplugged
- Alice in Chains "Unplugged"
- Bjork "self debut"
- Hole "Live through this" (there are at least 3 tracks that are top notch, I know not all the album is recorded with the same quality)
- NIN "The Downward spiral"
- Sublime "Best Of"
- Pulp "Different Class"

I've always loved starting these threads, I'll probably keep doing it throughout the week for the 80's, 70's and 60's. I always find treats from other people. As you can tell I've got a pretty narrow selection of music, but the 90's was my time and that's what I listened too.

I'm too tired to post ten, but one that comes immediately to mind is Nirvana's "Nevermind." Fantastic dynamics.
I wholeheartedly agree with the Alice in Chains Jar of Flies selection. I don't know why all Rock recordings can't sound this nice but I will go and try to find the unpludded CD this weekend.
