I think I found my solution:

Triangle Elara bookshelf speakers.

By themselves they sound amazing!  Paired with a Klipsch 12" sub, they are stellar!

I am looking for desktop speakers. Klipsch Promedia 2.1 is a possibility. I have seen them listed for as little as 50 bucks unopened. I suspect it is a scam . I will buy direct from Klipsch if I go with the Promedia 2.1. Any suggestions on computer speakers in 2023 ?

The A2 is a very good speaker. I am leaning toward the Kanto YU2. I am trying to find a pair to demo. I live in Austin Texas. I have contacted Kanto but no response.
