Every once in awhile I strike gold. Yesterday it found me. It's got everything I currently dig. Tropicalia funkiness with fusiony grooves a la CTI minus some of the cornier to me arranging. Killer sonics.  Spacious open and airy. Herbie Hancock produced. Don't know how this stacks up within his discography. Allmusic gives it only 3stars. Promo copy - Airto:Identity

Great summer mini staycation front to back one listen.

Please post your impression of the RS mono box on that thread. I would appreciate the help and your evaluation. Thank you.

Crippled Black Phoenix... Any comments from the fellow agoners?...
Listening to them for a few weeks now and still cannot make my mind if its the real stuff or just another thing that goes nowadays for "progressive"... Now waiting for their 2015 output where they reinterpreted Meddle.

Thanks Ghost. Enjoyed that. They remind me of Galactic. I have checked them out before and the album you referenced is much more accessible for me.
Hey there max.  Glad you enjoyed Snarky Puppy.  Best part of this site is sharing music that clcks for someone else.  I don't know Galactic but will give them a try.

To quote the late Bernie Mac..."nawice... real nawice"!

2016 CD Remasters of the entire Styx and Crowded House catalogs.

They have to be imported, but well-worth the wait.

Both series are well-done, and make the musical experience much more enjoyable than the original US issues.
