Recaping Audiolab 8000Ms

Anyone with experience recapping Audiolab amps? I just purchased a pair of 16-year-old 8000M monoblocks in pristine condition however given their age I suspect the caps may have run their course. I also bought an 8000Q of the same vintage. Is recapping necessary for the preamp as well? Finally, what is a good/appropriate interconnect for the 8000Ms to 8000Q?
