Re-capping of Denon DP-XXL TT's?

I use a few Rega and Thorens tables with my modern systems, but prefer the aesthetics and ergonomics of my DP-72/62/57 and 60L with my vintage gear. Outside of frequent use, I have read that recapping of these units can prevent eventual failures that would lead to fatal destruction of the microprocessors controlling table function. Has anybod had this done recently to their satisfaction, and by whom? Thanks in advance.
