Raidho D2.1

Does anyone own these speakers? How do you like them and how would you describe their strengths and weaknesses? Also, what electronics do you use with them? Thanks in advance!

Hello Dracule = Sorry to hear about that price quote. Are you sure that's accurate? Also, can you tell me about your 2.0's?

Thanks for you take. Most importantly I'm looking for natural, life-like tonality along with 3-D imaging and a soundstage wherein the speakers seem to disappear. I think I could  be content with well controlled and tonally defined bass sans punch. I'm leaning towards solid state, i.e., Viola Labs...
Hi xti16 = I have seen some of your posts elsewhere where you have spoken about your experience with Raidho. Is it possible to give you a phone call? Thanks!
Are you able to hook D2.1's up to your components to see if they'll play nice together before you buy?
Hello Musicairo = I've had D2.1's in my system for a couple of years and love them! If they are in excellent condition that seems like a reasonable asking price but bear in mind you can always bargain if you feel the seller is motivated. What are the other components in your setup?Best, Michael
Just a thought, if you haven't already, you might contact Raidho and let them know what your components are and see what they think. I have on more than one occasion reached out to them and they were very helpful. All the Best, Michael
Nice to hear you are still digging your Raidho's, George! At one point I was using a 70 watt stereo amp and while it brought that tube magic, at louder volume the amp would sometimes distort on certain low bass notes. I now use VAC 200iq mono blocs which handle the tonal spectrum with ease and the sound is fabulous!
I heard the new Borresen speakers at RMAF 2018 and thought they sounded great (along with several other brands) but they did not trigger that well know audio related disease known as upgraditits. My more "modest" system continues to provide sonic joy! Perhaps prolonged exposure in a more controlled setting might yield a different result. I'm curious to hear your thoughts along the way, George...
