Are you in a high rise, or near a radio transmitter?
I don't know your cables, but try even inexpensive, fully shielded cables just to see if that is what you need. A lot of boutique IC's deliberately omit the shield to minimize capacitance.
If that doesn't work, consider a power conditioner with serial mode surge protection, such as some Furman and SurgeX. I personally always recommend the Furman's with SMP and LiFT.
