The Atma-Sphere, like any OTL amp, is picker on speaker matching. If you dont have high impedance speakers or if you cannot audition the amp with your speakers to make sure they will work, I would choose the Quicksliver.
Quicksilver M-80 vs. Atma-Sphere M-50?
Help! Tube experts, does anyone have experience with these two amps? Both are for sale for about $1100 here on Audiogon, which one is a better deal? Better sound? Which is more reliable with less maintenence? I appreciate any input from anyone who knows about these amps.
