Always leave the unit in standby mode, there should not be a warm-up from that. At some point in time consider the upgrade to the 380S--it is a remarkable difference in terms of transparency and imaging.
Question on Levinson 38S
Hi folks,
I recently purchased a levinson 38S, and noticed that the sound really came into it's own after about 45-60 minutes of use. Now I am not sure if it is just me finally relaxing after a long day, or if there is something to the warm-up. So, I have two questions for you ML 38X owners:
1. Am I imagining this quality increase?
2. Should I just always leave the unit turned on? If so, then what is happening in standby mode?
