I don't know the technical aspects but this got the sleeper award. This was better than the CAT ultimate in my opinion. The Cat was more analytic. Aloia is smoother and more musical especially at the phono. The price is closer to reality also.

Does anyone know what type of volume attenuator this pre
amp uses? How are the frequency extremes of this pre in regards to dynamics and deep bass and natural highs?
Has anybody compared this pre to say a Pass X1 pre-amp which I think is very dynamic and has deep bass?
