Quad speaker quality

I don't know but they sure sound good. Does this "authority" have specific knowledge or just assuming because of the Chinese origin? The quality control from Chinese manufacturers has improved significantly over the years. You can still get crap but you can also get quality. No different than US or Europeon manufacturers.

LOL. I own some old Quad 63's. I'd love to say they were built like tanks. Yes I would. But they did sound just fine. So if the new Quads sound good AND you can get service when you need it, don't worry. England never had a corner on quality construction of most anything IMHO.
