QRP/AP The Doors remasters

Acoustic Sounds is currently taking pre-orders for the remasters of The Doors library of albums by Analogue Productions and pressed by QRP.

The question is:
Wasn't there a recent remastered box set that was beset by delays due to problems with master tapes? And weren't there digital fixes involved in that remaster project?

I think the answer is yes to the digital fixes made. We might not know which particular albums were affected by poor master tape quality. Not sure.

But then read the advertising hype at Acoustic Sounds for this new round of remasters by AP and pressed at QRP and the word 'digital' is no where to be seen. Only words like 'analog' and 'tube gear'. Supposedly Doug Sax and Bruce Botnick are involved.

Do I see some conflicting information here? Can anyone shed light on this? Are the new remasters from AP going to contain digitally altered source material?

There is plenty of new "talent" in Rap. But then again, that is not music, just noise with obscene lyrics.
