Qobuz Hi-Res via Iphone/Ipad cable?

New to Qobuz and so far I'm very happy with it overall, though I'm not killing Spotify for a variety of reasons. One question, is it possible to find a decent cable for a Lighting interface to USB Type 2 to stream Hi-Res? Running from my Mac isn't a practical option as it is not a laptop. I've seen the iPhone "Camera" adaptor, but I don't really want to buy a bunch of cable that may not work. Any suggestions would be great! If a separate streamer is the solution, that isn't out of the question either...

I just started with Qobuz as well. I’m using my iPad and iPhone and the lightening to USB camera adapter with my Hifiman HE400S headphones and it works well. I was gonna do some sort of streaming but as it’s headphones it’s not really necessary and I didn’t want to deal, plus doing the wired option is quite a bit cheaper. And this setup is completely portable — bonus! I added an Audioquest Dragonfly Red DAC/amp and took the sound to a much higher level that closely mimics my big rig in overall sound quality. Anyway, the camera adapter works, but I have to admit I haven’t explored hi rez yet.  When I played a hi-rez track the screen still said “CD Quality,” so wondering if maybe Apple limits the resolution.  Sorry I can’t be more help there.
Just looked it up and it appears that Apple limits output to 24/44.1. Argh!  Doesn’t bother me too much because my ‘phones still sound great, but if you really want true hi Rez it looks like you’ll need a separate streamer, like a Bluesound Node 2i. Hope this helps.
Yeah, looks like 44.1 is about as good as it will get. But I did notice it also depends on WiFi or cellular. Airplay actually will play full high res files. I am playing with Roon now and trying to decide how I want to set up the Core, on my NAS, or accessing my NAS via my MAC. I would need to add an SSD to my NAS one way or another if I used it as the Core. Roon will play anything pretty much. Wired or not.
