OK...for all you playstaion 2 owners who have problems reading any discs at all....I called Sony and they gave me a solution.....in the browser screen.....press Traingle....select console and use the auto diagnostic mode....this corrects the laser to read the disc in the most efficient way...fixed my problem in no time...with NO money....whew!...
Problems with PS2
I use a Playstation 2 as a second room dvd player...but when the player reads the second layer half-way thru the movie it cuts out all the time ...the audio and the video are not in sync....I tried using a lens cleaning CD...that doesn't help to much....it happens on most discs...even new ones....any suggestions...before I spend alot on fixing it...thanx chris....by the way it reads CDs and Playstation games just fine....
