Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC with Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge vs.Pro-Ject - Debut Carbon Esprit S

Hey, 

I finally got back into vinyl and purchased a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC TT and am wondering if the Debut Carbon Espirt S is a major upgrade.

If I upgrade the Debut Carbon will it be as good or better than the Espirit?

Apparently one can upgrade the cartridge and platter.  Are there any other upgrades?

I only have a few days to return it so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

I just purchased the Pro-Ject Carbon Esprit. I went with the Esprit over the DC simply to save on the platter upgrade at a later date. With the acrylic platter you can forgo the felt, rubber, cork mat as well. There are one or two additional benefits to the Esprit but I can't recall. In the end, the numbers just shook out better for me to get the Esprit.
