I have a CJ PV-15 running into a JWN push-pull tube amp. Rated at around 100 tube watts per channel. (That's a hand-made amp by Jim Nichols.) Sounds awesome.

Looking for some recommendations for an pre & amp to go with a set of Helicon 400's.
I am currently using a Cary SLI 80 feed from a DAC-2. My preference is for tube sound though the other standard sonic attributes are appreciated (detail, imaging, etc).
Would like to keep this under $5k, used or new - if possible.
