It sure does. I guess they don’t want to show that outstanding Yorx all in one that they really own!
Little over a year ago someone was like, "Miller you sure post a lot where's your system?" There was a bit of a implication there that I didn't care for. But thinking back it was a reasonable comment. We did after all have one here with no system whatsoever, literally not even a iPod, it was a Walkman. No I am not making this up. This guy was even more of a waste of space than the current one. Well maybe not. Every once in a while he would crack a joke. The current empty suit is not only genuinely empty and devoid of any value whatsoever, he's also a total paskudnik. And no pictures. Why is that, I wonder?

Where was I? Oh yeah. So the question got me motivated. Never did such a thing before. Does not come naturally to me. Not on FB, not on any of the many stupid social networks people go for validation. Not my thing.

But I am a serious audiophile. Whether the guy was genuine or just trying to get a dig in ultimately doesn't matter. All that matters, there is a lot going on to study and learn from.

So finally one day I shoved some of the clutter out of range, brought some light into the cave, and shot some pics. https://systems.audiogon.com/systems/8367 As expected a whole bunch of people have learned and appreciated- and some schlubs kvetch but they aren't bubkes so who cares?

Point is the pics are up and people seem to be getting a lot out of them. Had a guy call me just last week all agog over the level of attention to detail. Well same for mahgister, probably has his fans too by the way. If not he should.

We can't all have architecturally designed acoustically perfect rooms. Even then, they would change, that is the name of the game. I'm always doing something. My pics are way out of date. Thanks for the reminder.
I wish more folks would start virtual systems maybe now that we get notifications they will. Nice system Tom!
"We did after all have one here with no system whatsoever..."

"At the time that he resumed performing and recording in 1963, Mississippi John Hurt did not own a guitar."

To be fair to geoffkait, he did (does?) have a few systems. He had a Discman, Walkman, and, at least, a set of Grado headphones. Which is not much less sophsticated than a turntable and tube amplification which are, in order of decades, more archaic than cassettes and CDs.
The site has a search feature to look through the various user systems. Some are amazing, especially the guy with TADs and 4 Lamm amps.
tomstruck- millercarbon thanks for the photos have looked at them many of times
Thanks, there is a lot to study but they are a good 6 months out of date. There is a point where you can learn so much and so many ways of getting even more out of your system, and I am there and the improvements just keep coming. Hard enough to do let alone to document.

Several weeks ago took the turntable completely apart and revised a few things, mostly the bearing (yes I modified the bearing) but also the tone arm. Really wanted to take some pictures to show people but in the heat of the battle getting things done just too hard for my aged brain to switch tracks and play photographer/tech/photographer/tech.

Since the last pictures were taken there are now Townshend Pods under the turntable, amp, and phono stage. Podiums are ordered and should be here this week. Didn't want to take pictures of the test rig the Moabs are on now. It works and sounds good but looks like crap, and I get enough losers knocking me on looks as it is.

One thing to show, but would be a whole lot better if people could hear. Freaking amazing. Oh well. Images will have to do I guess. Just know when looking at the pictures, however good you might imagine it sounds, no, sorry, it sounds a whole lot better than that. Seriously. It does.
