I also have the SCD-777ES and am going passive with the EVS Attenuators into the Bel Canto EVo amp. What interconnects are you using? Do you use 2 interconnects in this config.? Did you ever try the EVS Attenuator? What was your system config before trying the Placette? Thanks mikeg.

My interconnects are Discovery plus4. I have used the "nude" balanced attenuaters from EVS in the past. I really liiked the sound but I really wanted a remote.
