phono pre-amp required for Beogram 4500 turntable?

Hello, I inherited a turntable from my father (Beogram 4500). While I do not know much about this turntable, it seems to come with a built in RIAA pre-amp. Does this mean I am not required to purchase a separate phono preamp and the unit can be connected directly to my integrated amp (exposure 2010s2)? I have already purchased a cambridge audio 640p phono preamp.. was this unnecessary?

yes, you can go straight in if it's one of the tables with the built in phono pre.

Check the Beoworld site to make sure
I owned one and it has a built in RIAA pre-amp of very decent quality. You do not need an external phono stage, you can plug this directly into your preamp line input.
