Phantom Damping Fluid

There are probably enough Phantom's out there by now to ask the question - how does the damping fluid level affect the sound of the arm?
Sir Speedy did the seminal work with this issue on the 2.2. It was stated early on that the Phantom is not as sensitive to the damping fluid level as is the 2.2.
Anyone with experience on this issue so far?
